As I stated in my original writings on our website (Blogsite), much of what is written is done to amuse and not to offend. We really ARE NOT thieves nor would we steal or accept bribes. It is just our way of taunting those who do, some of whom have been caught.
There are things that we all hope a new administration will do, to reduce the deficit which is a terrible albatross around our necks. This deficit can lead to a catastrophe in the market, with Social Security, with Medicare, if not "turned around".
Still riding on the "serious vein", we hear a lot these days about getting our troops home and there are many who would say this is foolish, that a job was started and must be finished otherwise chaos will set in. My view having spent a few years in the service, having seen the results of war, knowing that we hear of our service people being added to the fatality lists each month (Imagine how many are wounded and maimed) is the administration has admitted they misled us, that the Weapons of Mass Destruction were a figment of someones imagination.
I would ask those that advocate our troops remain, would you continue to think it right were it your Son or Daughter in Iraq? Think about that hard before answering.
My further view is the Iraqi government knows they cannot handle the insurgents, they need us to walk behind since our service people make good shields. Only God knows when and if they will be able to face their enemies without us and only he knows how many more young Americans will be killed or have their limbs blown away before the Iraqi Army says they will take over. As far as I am concerned, the Weapons of mass destruction are active everyday, every time I read of a new body count.
So, getting serious for a moment, we must end hostilities in the war zone. We must start fighting the out-of-control deficit. We must try to re-invent ourselves as Americans with others in foreign lands who hate us.
If I were truly running for the office of President, these would be some of my priorities. Enough of being serious, it is now time to start working in my behalf- I wish to be your President.
